Supported file types and languages

Safe Foundry works best with the SDS formats suppliers actually send.

Supported files

• PDF — text-based PDFs give the most accurate extraction
• Scanned or photographed sheets — these work too, though a text PDF is more reliable

Languages

We read English-language sheets today, with more languages on the way. If an extraction looks incomplete, try a clearer copy of the sheet.
