Can an SDS be used as the COSHH assessment?

No. The SDS describes the product and its hazards. A COSHH assessment considers how your organisation uses it, who could be exposed, the routes and level of exposure, and the controls required for that activity.

Does Safe Foundry automatically approve AI output?

No. AI-filled content remains part of a draft. A competent person reviews the extracted facts, workplace context, controls and risk judgements before signing off.

Can I create a COSHH assessment without AI?

Yes. The assessment is form-first. You can complete it manually and use AI fill only when it is useful for the SDS transcription work.

Can several similar products share one assessment?
