How it works
From form to sign-off in a few steps
Fill in a structured COSHH risk assessment — or let AI draft it from your Safety Data Sheet — while you stay in control of the review and sign-off.
Start your COSHH form
Open a structured COSHH assessment and describe the activity, location and people at risk.
Fill it in — or let AI fill it from your SDS
Complete the assessment yourself, or upload the Safety Data Sheet and let AI draft it for you.
Review, sign off and export
A competent person reviews and signs off, then export a polished PDF to share.
Step by step
What happens at each stage
Start your COSHH form
Open a structured COSHH assessment in the web app or on your phone and describe the work: the activity, where it happens and who is at risk.
- Structured sections laid out like the COSHH paperwork you already know
- Start from a blank form — no document upload required
- Save drafts and come back to them on any device
Fill it in — or let AI fill it from your SDS
Complete the assessment yourself, or upload the Safety Data Sheet and let AI draft the hazard sections for you. The AI fill is optional — the form is always yours to edit.
- Identifies the signal word, hazard statements (H-codes) and precautionary statements (P-codes)
- Classifies the hazard type and route of exposure, and captures workplace exposure limits (WELs) where available
- Validates the SDS file before processing
Review, sign off and export
The assessment is a draft until a competent person reviews it, makes any edits and signs it off. Once signed off, export a clean PDF and share it with the people who need it.
- Assign a competent person to review each assessment
- Sign off or reject, with notifications to keep everyone in the loop
- Export a PDF with sign-off details annotated and share it with your team
The output
A structured COSHH assessment, not just a summary
Safe Foundry produces a full assessment document laid out like the COSHH paperwork you already know — ready to review, sign off and export.

How credits work
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of credits. Credits are used when you upload an SDS to generate an assessment, and the number a document uses is dynamic. Need more in a busy month? Buy a one-off top-up pack without changing your plan.
